This XML schema defines the format of a CDB Composite Material Table (CMT);
a collection of substrates each made of base materials.
CDB is an OGC Standard.

A CMT is a list of one or more composite materials.
This constraint ensures that all composite material indices are unique.
Each composite material has a unique identification number, a name, and one or more substrates.
The presence of a surface substrate is optional.
It represents a very thin layer of materials on top of the primary substrate.
There can be an unlimited number of secondary substrates underneath the primary substrate.
They are listed in order from top to bottom.
That is, the first secondary substrate appears immediately underneath the primary substrate.
The next secondary substrate is found underneath the first one. And so on.
A substrate has a certain thickness and is composed of one or more base materials.
The thickness is expressed in meters, with a value greater than zero.
It is optional for the last substrate when several substrates are defined.
Note that the thickness is always optional for the surface substrate.
Each material is identified by the name of its base material and by its proportion in the substrate.
A percentage is an integer in the range [1,100].
